The Lions Projected Final 53-Man Roster Has SHOCKING Decisions...

DESCRIPTION
The Detroit Lions have officially reached the hardest part of building a roster: deciding which talented players make the final 53.
After months of training camp, preseason games and roster battles, A to Z Sports Detroit's Mike Payton reveals his final Detroit Lions 53-man roster prediction.
And there are some difficult decisions.
Mike breaks down every position group, including surprising calls involving Josh Dobbs, Luke Altmyer, Kony Varkey, Jackson Meeks, Ennis Rakestraw Jr. and more.
The quarterback room is one of the biggest questions.
Mike currently has Jared Goff and Luke Altmyer making the roster, but he believes Detroit will continue looking for a veteran quarterback option after cuts. Josh Dobbs struggled to separate himself during preseason, while Altmyer showed enough potential for the Lions to keep him around — potentially on the practice squad if another veteran option becomes available.
The running back room features one of Mike's biggest changes.
After previously expressing concern about Sione Vaki's injury situation, Mike believes Vaki has earned a roster spot. With Isaiah Pacheco's status uncertain heading into Week 1, Vaki could potentially have a significant role early in the season.
At wide receiver, Mike explains why Tay Martin earned the final receiver spot. His ability to contribute on special teams and handle the dirty work that Dan Campbell values gives him the edge over other talented players.
The tight end room features another difficult decision.
Jackson Meeks has shown enough potential that Mike believes Detroit should keep him on the roster and continue developing him into a bigger offensive contributor throughout the season.
The offensive line may be the biggest wildcard.
Mike believes Detroit could still add outside help at guard after Dan Campbell acknowledged that the competition may not be solved by players currently on the roster. Could the Lions add a veteran? Could a former draft pick become available?
The biggest debate may come at cornerback.
Mike explains why Ennis Rakestraw Jr. is the toughest player to leave off the roster despite flashes of talent, and why Detroit's depth at corner makes the numbers game extremely difficult.
Finally, Mike discusses his decisions at defensive line, linebacker, safety and special teams.
Who made Mike's final 53-man roster? Who was left off? And which decisions do you disagree with?
